Crock Pot Short Ribs Recipe
Ingredients:

3 pounds | Beef short ribs |
1/2 cup | Soy sauce |
1/4 cup | Brown sugar |
1/4 cup | Honey |
1/4 cup | Tomato paste |
4 cloves | Garlic, minced |
1 | Onion, sliced |
1 cup | Beef broth |
2 tablespoons | Worcestershire sauce |
1 teaspoon | Dried thyme |
1/2 teaspoon | Black pepper |
2 tablespoons | Cornstarch |
2 tablespoons | Water |
Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, honey, tomato paste, minced garlic, beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, and black pepper. Mix well.
- Place the sliced onion at the bottom of the crock pot.
- Add the beef short ribs on top of the onion.
- Pour the sauce mixture over the ribs, making sure they are evenly coated.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for 6-8 hours or on high heat for 3-4 hours, until the meat is tender.
- Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the crock pot and set aside.
- In a small bowl, mix cornstarch and water to make a slurry.
- Pour the liquid from the crock pot into a saucepan and bring to a boil.
- Slowly add the cornstarch slurry to the boiling liquid, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens.
- Return the ribs to the crock pot and pour the thickened sauce over them.
- Cover the crock pot and cook on low heat for an additional 30 minutes.
- Serve the short ribs with the sauce and enjoy!
